Addictions!

White Chocolate Popcorn (A.K.A. Popcorn Crack)

1 package microwave popcorn
1/2 bag chopped walnuts
2 snack bags of M&M’s
1 bag mini-marshmallows
4 squares white almond bark (or 1 bag of white chocolate chips + 1 tbsp Crisco)

Pop the popcorn as directed on the package. Put it in a very, very large bowl {the largest bowl you own} and try to eliminate all the un-popped kernels. Mix everything except the chocolate into the large bowl. Next, coarsely chop the almond bark squares and melt them , or chocolate + Crisco) in the microwave. Melt in a glass bowl, in 45-second intervals, as to not burn the chocolate. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the marshmallow/popcorn mixture. Stir continuously with a plastic spoon until everything is coated with chocolate. Turn it all out onto a lightly greased cookie sheet to cool. Add any desired candies or even crasins are delicious!

Home Made Lollipops

A lady that I work with has been bringing in homemade suckers. They are TOTALLY delicious. Better then store bought suckers. I want to make suckers so bad now! So i've been looking all over the internet for these metal molds. I hear the metal molds are better to use. Man are they hard to find! But i'm determined, the nephews will absolutely love them - although shawn might not be able to fit his adorable little mouth over them cause they are pretty big :)

Supplies & Prep:

You need to get everything ready before you start, because once your sucker liquid is hot and ready, things get moving fast. You need, molds, sticks, flavoring, food coloring, sauce pan, candy thermometer, twist ties, and small wrappers.

You can put the molds on wax paper, aluminum foil or the bottom of a jelly roll cookie sheet. Spray surface with pam. Line up sucker molds and spray with pam also. Insert sucker sticks.

Ingredients:
2 cups Sugar
2/3 cups Karo Syrup
3/4 cups water
2 drams of Flavor
Food Coloring

Boil Sugar, Karo & Water to 310 degrees - add coloring at about 250 degrees

Take off heat and add flavoring. You can add 1 dram or 2 drams (the flavoring bottles comes in drams) - your choice but don't ever add 2 drams if you are making cinnimon flavored suckers.

Pour into molds and let set for 30+ minutes. Then take out of molds, put the suckers in the wrappers and them tie off with twist ties. YUM!!
